The Rhythmic Reds started in 2017 when a group of likeminded individuals from across North Somerset decided to form a choir. Under the leadership and direction of Caro Barrett we sing a variety of songs, unaccompanied, a mix of traditional and contemporary, usually with the theme of equality and inclusive. The choir has grown over the years and welcomes all singers regardless of ability or experience.

Lily the Pink – Clevedon’s community piano will be up on the Bandstand . You are very welcome to come and play. There are sessions for open play in between the scheduled performers. Approx times are above.
Come play and send out some tunes along the sea front! Lily has been located in Queens Square and on Clevedon Pier. This is her first time on Clevedon’s iconic Bandstand!
The times above are scheduled as Lily is Open to everyone times and are scheduled in-between the performers sessions.
Chris Hope

Bristol-based composer, Chris Hope, brings energy, skill and sensitivity to a full range of genres, from classical piano, indie and ambient through to electro, rock, choral and contemporary soundscapes.
As a composer and producer, Chris is available for large-scale musical projects, to bespoke sound design, in Film, Television, Gaming, Short Film, Art Installations and Theatre.
Chris works as Associate Composer for award-winning Box of Tricks Theatre.
He works from his own studio in the beautiful town of Clevedon .
Natalie Fée

Weaving the wild into song, Bristol-based singer-songwriter Natalie Fée draws her inspiration from a deep, embodied connection to nature, blending the traditional warmth of folk with poetic lyrics, enchanting harmonies and healing invocations.
Natalie spent a year sitting ‘under the oak’ – meditating, writing and listening to the land – and many of the songs written that year have made their way into ‘Daughter of Nature’, her debut album, which came out in June this year.
Singles from the album have already had plays on BBC Introducing, and have clocked up over 600,000 streams.
Katy Garden

Canadian-born soprano Katy Garden is a versatile performer whose passion for storytelling shines through every performance. After studying at the Vancouver Academy of Music and completing a Master’s degree with Distinction at the Royal College of Music, London, she has enjoyed a varied career as both a performer and teacher. Whether performing beloved classical works, timeless musical theatre favourites, smooth jazz standards or contemporary pop, Katy creates memorable musical experiences that connect with audiences of all ages. She is a regular performer at Royal Ballet & Opera pre-screening events at the Curzon Cinema, Clevedon, and has recently captivated audiences in a series of candlelit concerts including a performance at The Riff Corner. Katy is looking forward to returning to the operatic stage in her next role as Belinda in Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas with Opera in a Box.

Pablo Jimenez-Moreno and Waseem Albahri are Bristol-based musicians working across contemporary classical, ambient, drone, and experimental music. Having played together for over ten years through solo projects, AWE, Rah!, and The Weird Outsiders, they use improvisation as a core element of their practice. With backgrounds in architecture, they are interested in how music can create experiences of minimalism, space, and emotional intensity.

A community singing group rather than a “choir”, who meet simply to enjoy singing together and all the benefits that brings, and have all found that singing together improves their mood and sense of well being. They are a really welcoming and friendly group and anyone is welcome to join at any time. They usually sing something new each week unless they really like it, so, popping in and out around busy life commitments works really well.
The Barnacle Buoys

The Barnacle Buoys have known each other for many years but they did not realise that they all had something in common; the appreciation of shanty music. After making the discovery the Buoys got together in February 2013 and shared a pint or two in the Old Inn, Clevedon and experimented with a few shanties. The rest, as they say, is history.
The Buoys have their own unique style, pleasing our audiences and raising money for charity, primarily Children’s Hospice South West and the RNLI. They also regularly support our wonderful pier in Clevedon and have organised shanty events on board the cherished MV Balmoral.

Rhythmic Integration Of Vocals, Guitar & Drums Inside Each Song” is how Mike Bess defines his musical style, with a brilliant fusion of jazz, rock and blues.
Gitano

Gitano were formed from a partership of Damian Pope and Graham Nicholls, originally jamming together as an acoustic duo. In around 1998 Damian was co running an acoustic club in Clevedon, a weekly performance session to help get players used to performing publicly, as well as gigging musicians road testing new material. During one of these Graham attended and played, and following this they discovered that they had a shared love of Gypsy Jazz music. Next they bought Gypsy Jazz style guitars and put together the start of a set, weaving in a few songs and jazz standards. Graham had been gigging with Charlie Rose, and from there Gitano was born.

Ilya Reunion Gig – Original Line-Up Returns
This special reunion concert brings together the original members of Ilya, the acclaimed band signed to Virgin Records and Chrysalis Music. In the early 2000s, Ilya performed at some of London’s most iconic venues, including Ronnie Scott’s, The Jazz Café, The Lyceum and Hoxton Hall.
Dan Brown, Nick Pullin and Joanna Swan will revisit songs from their celebrated album They Died For Beauty, alongside new and previously unheard material written during the band’s early years.
Expect an intimate performance of beautiful songs, stories and memories. Join us for this unique reunion and share in a very special chapter of the Ilya story.
